Serving Up Succulent Treats for East End House in Cambridge

While guests wined and dined on snacks and drinks provided by some of the area’s best restaurants and bars, a longtime Cambridge charity celebrated its ninth annual benefit in Boston on Thursday.

More than 600 guests participated at the East End House’s Cooking for a Cause, making it their biggest event to date bringing in over $400,000.

“The event would not be possible without the tremendous support of all the chefs, vendors and volunteers who make the night possible,” said Michael J. Delia, President and Chief Executive Officer East End House, Inc. “The work of East End House would not be possible without the support of all the guests, chefs, vendors, volunteers and sponsors who make Cooking for a Cause possible. [It’s] a wonderful celebration of the work of the agency and the commitment of the entire community to helping children, youth and families succeed.”

For guests and organizers, the event was a win-win. Over 100 businesses participated in the event.
