Desiree’s connection to East End House began in early childhood – first as a preschooler in the program, later as a participant in the school-age program, and eventually as a volunteer at age thirteen. In 2019, she officially joined the East End House staff and has since served as a Teacher and Lead Teacher in the Toddler Program. With more than six years of experience at East End House, Desiree creates nurturing, engaging classroom environments that encourage children to learn, explore, and grow. As both an educator and a parent of two, she brings empathy and understanding to her work with families, emphasizing strong relationships and individualized support for each child’s development. Desiree is proud to give back to the community that shaped her own early experiences and continues to embody the values of care, connection, and lifelong learning that define East End House.
