Denise is a Boston native with a deep commitment to education and community service. She earned her BA in Psychology from Curry College, with minors in Elementary and Special Education.

Certified as a Lead Teacher by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, Denise also holds Director I and II certifications. With over 10 years of experience in Early Childhood and Special Education, she has worked with diverse populations across various age groups which includes providing jobs for teens during the summer and after school programs.

Denise’s expertise extends beyond the classroom, having contributed to afterschool programs, family engagement initiatives, summer camps, and summer food programs. Her leadership and skills have earned her previous organizations financial awards and recognition, reflecting her impact in the field.

Denise enjoys spending time with her family, reading books and supporting others in her community, connecting them with resources.
