Marsé Romero
She/They
Middle School Program Director

Marsé moved from Maryland to Boston in 2018 to earn her Master’s in Opera from Longy School of Music, graduating in 2020. She is a classical singer and voice teacher, but her true passion has always been working with youth. She joined East End House in 2020 as a Group Leader in the School Age Program. Since then, she has taken on several roles, including Middle School Site Coordinator, Interim Summer Program Director, and now Middle School Program Director. With over 15 years of experience, her dedication to uplifting and supporting young people only continues to grow stronger.

She believes middle and high school students deserve the same support that elementary students receive. As youth grow older, they still need structure, guidance, and encouragement from caring adults. Alongside her desire to support upper school students, she also has a passion to bring more performing, visual, and fine arts into after-school programs. She knows firsthand how much creative expression can inspire confidence and growth. Because of that, she works to build creative, inclusive, and safe programming at East End House.
