Born in New Hampshire, Ryan Montbleau attended Hobart College and graduated in 2019 with a BA in Environmental Studies and a focus in Sustainable Community Development. After receiving his degree, Ryan worked as an English teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam before moving back to the United States during COVID-19. Since 2021, Ryan and the Community Programs team have successfully expanded access to healthy food for children, families, and senior citizens in Cambridge and have developed new programs to address other pervasive, systemic health issues in our communities.
At East End House, Ryan is passionate about developing resource assistance programs, particularly those related to food and other essential items, to help alleviate challenges faced by our community each day. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys building Legos, spending time with his cat Charlie, and finding the best taco spots in Boston!
